In 2020, Abby became the first third-generation member of the York family to join the family development company after graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Legal Studies. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans in 2023 and received her Mississippi Real Estate License in 2024. Abby brings a rare and powerful blend of expertise in both mental health and real estate development.

She is currently a provisionally licensed Professional Counselor at Hope Enrichment Center in Oxford, where she is deeply committed to supporting emotional well-being and personal growth. Her clinical training informs a thoughtful, people-first approach to every aspect of her work.

As part of the founding team behind York Developments’ new behavioral healthcare platform, The Wellery, Abby plays a vital role in shaping the clinical foundation of the program. Her dual perspective allows her to contribute meaningfully to both the design of healing spaces and the development of innovative care models for mental health and addiction recovery. In her role as Director of Clinical Strategy & Mission Integration, she ensures that every therapeutic offering remains grounded in The Wellery’s mission of whole-person healing.
